Royal baby receives fan mail

The Kensington Palace, where Prince William, Kate, and their two children reside, recently tweeted a heart-warming picture of the piles of fan mail Princess Charlotte has received. The image shows hundreds of handwritten greeting cards, group craft projects and painted pictures from school children. A royal thank you
The royal family’s gratitude was apparent, demonstrated even beyond the social media post. According to  According to Walesonline, Buckingham Palace sent thank you card to Avia Jenkins Mead, a 6-year-old girl who had sent a handmade congratulations card to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The return note expressed, “The Royal Highnesses are extremely grateful for the wonderful messages they have received and send you their warmest thanks and best wishes.”

Even the Queen of England, Princess Charlotte’s great-grandmother, has acknowledged her gratitude for all of these heartfelt wishes. Another thank you letter was sent from Buckingham Palace to two 8-year-old girls who had written a poem for the royal baby. According to the Gloucestershire Echo, the Lady-in-Waiting wrote note on behalf of the Queen, thanking the girls for their kind words.

Celebrating a baby
While not every new baby is featured in the news, any birth is an exciting time and calls for celebration. Do you know a couple who recently had a baby?
