News and Insights from the World of Greeting Cards

Posted by at 29 August , 2008

The holiday season is already heating up. It seems that it starts a few weeks earlier each year. For example, I’ve noticed that ads for artificial Christmas trees are showing up in my Sunday paper. And, I’ve even seen some space being cleared at retail for holiday decorating items.Holiday Cards

Of course, those who are crafty have been working on holiday decorations throughout the summer but watch for those stores that specialize in crafts to have the aisles packed and ready for the holidays the Tuesday after Labor Day.

Move over Halloween, Christmas is taking precedence! All of that black and orange will be red and green before you know it! Turkeys and pumpkins will just have to fend for themselves!

And, being in the seasonal holiday cards business, our customer service team is ramping up to handle seasonal greeting card orders now! With the children back in school and the summer nearing its end, now is the time to start planning for the holiday season. Why not be proactive by ordering your holiday cards early this year. You can get them all signed and addressed before you flip the switch from air conditioning to heat!

Happy Holidays!
