A big thank you to those that have sent their unused greeting cards to us for repurposing. We have received cards in just about every category and have forwarded them on to non-profit organizations that have requested them. We do want to thank S. Knighton from Newton, NC and L. Nix from Washington, DC, as well as all of those who have sent packages anonymously or with just their return address but no name included. If you could use any of our donated cards, let us know how many and in what categories and what organization you represent and we will get them to you. We know holiday cards are great for showing your appreciation to donors, sponsors and volunteers and the season is fast approaching.

Now that it is time for spring cleaning, I bet there are items you can donate as well. Take a look around your home or office. Your trash may be someone else’s treasures. For example, an organization called The Care Bags Foundation can use your leftover happy meal toys or mini shampoos and soaps from your hotel visits. Homeless shelters use these too. Perhaps your office has promotional items that were never put to use. These could be donated to someone who would appreciate them.
